June 28, 2014: Babylon 13 starts “Ukrainians: From Pacific to Atlantic” tour from Vancouver

We invite you to join us to discuss revolutionary events that took place in Ukraine this winter. Ukrainian filmmakers Pylyp and Andriy Rojen came from Kyiv to share their insider’s perspective and to show unique films by BABYLON’13.

This summer they will travel from Pacific to Atlantic Ocean, engaging with different audiences across Canada.

Please visit www.uafromptoa.net to learn more about the project.

Place: Ukrainian Cultural Centre at Holy Trinity Orthodox Cathedral – 154 E 10th Ave, Vancouver, BC

Time: Saturday, June 28, 2014 at 6.30 pm

This evening you can also hear extraordinary stories of some of children whose lives have been heavily impacted by the events. Thanks to the efforts of O.W.L. Ukrainian-Canadian Education and Charity Trust founders, 15 of them will come to Vancouver this July to participate in a 2-month English program.

Admission is free, but donation in support of the two initiatives would be greatly appreciated.
