The Rozhen brothers of Babylon 13 have returned from their triumphant cross-Canada tour showing Canadians, including PM Steven Harper, their documentary films of the Maidan Ukrainian Revolution, and the birth of a new Ukraine! It was the Lower Mainland’s generosity that launched the tour on July 1 and this will now be the site of the tour’s finale. Come to see their showing of 5 film clips onNovember 1, the historic anniversary of the November Uprising.
The November Uprising – Листопадовий Зрив: In the early morning hours of Nov. 1 1918 Ukrainian forces of the Austrian Army seized the city of Lviv, raised the blue and yellow flag on the city hall, seized telephone communications, the telegraph and the radio station, as well as the city’s train stations.
