Ukrainian defenders congratulated women on International Women’s Day, which is celebrated on March 8. They promised to ensure a peaceful sky over their heads very soon and thanked every woman for all the prayers and support.

«Our dear women, mothers and wives, sisters and daughters! You have met another spring with great pain in your heart and tears in your eyes. Unfortunately, these days of the awakening of nature are smoky with war and anxiety today. Dear guardians, thank you very much and a low bow! I wish peace to Ukraine, harmony and prosperity in your families, also – health to you, your family and friends. Believe in our soldiers, belief in the armed forces. Glory to Ukraine, together we will win», – said the commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant-General Serhiy Nayev.
Many congratulations from men who are now fighting for our freedom appeared on social media this day. They decided not to leave women without celebration and kind words as many of them are also fighting side by side with men and doing everything possible to ensure that their defenders return home alive.
