Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral (154 East 10th Avenue, Vancouver, BC) invites everyone interested in understanding Icons from historical, artistic and spiritual perspectives to join us on March 30th, 9:30am to 4:00pm for an insightful day.
There is no registration fee and lunch is by donation.
Our presenter, Very Rev. Fr. Dimitrie Vincent is a parish priest at St. Thomas Orthodox Church, Albanian Archdiocese in Farmington Hills, Michigan and a producer and radio host for Detroit’s Own Orthodox Radio, WNZK, 690AM.
He has certification as an Art Educator, a Masters of Divinity and did PhD studies in Historical Theology. A lifelong hockey player, Father suffered spinal cord damage in November 2017 in a league game and was paralyzed from the neck down. By God’s Grace, great strides have been made in his recovery and he is able to join us on March 30th and share his knowledge about Icons.
